Responsibilities:

• Will work with a growing QA team to deliver automated as well as manual test solution for web-based applications.
• Duties will include design, document, develop and execute test cases.
• Design and develop in-house automation tools as well as utilize off the shelf tools to create an automation framework
• Create manual test plans as well as thorough manual and automated test scripts by understanding web application requirements.
• Execute the test cases against the application
• Supports the Software Quality Manager in the definition and the implementation of the overall software project processes, in the definition of the development logic and in the choice of methods and automation tools to be used.
• Demonstrate excellent creativity and problem-solving skills during test execution. This requires looking at the log files and understanding the problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand software QA processes and recommend changes and enhancement in the existing process.
• Create an automation framework for testing the application’s multiple backend API’s.
• Create bug defects in bug tracking tool with complete information on the steps as well as log files.
• Follow up on the bug when it is fixed and resolve it in the tool.

• Recommends program improvements or corrections to developers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\‘s degree in computer science, computer engineering, electronics and communications engineering or equivalent training in Information
• Technology management
• Requires five or more years of experience in Information Technology with at least two to three years of experience as Software Quality Assurance
• Engineer or equivalent
• Should be willing to do QA functions
• Knowledgeable of QA processes
• Preferably with extensive programming experience
• Knowledgeable of blackbox tester
• Strong software quality and /or engineering background and understand SDLC methodology
• Excellent in problem solving analysis, troubleshooting, Website testing, project management, analytical thinking, time management, communications, decision making, human relations, presentation and organization skills
• Hands on experience in developing automation scripts using PERL, JAVA, Http Unit or JUnit
• Ability to work in a minimal supervision environment on an individual level as well as team level
• Working knowledge on Windows environment
• Load and stress automation testing is a huge plus
• Night shift adaptability
• Full time positions available
