Job Description
• Works with other Web Associates, Web operators and Web masters to manage and maintain client Web sites using existing content management systems , within guidelines set by the Web Manager and the Head of Web Management.
• Demonstrate familiarity with the Web as a medium.
• Demonstrate familiarity with the range of content management systems used within HSBC.
• Demonstrates ability to import text and data from external applications such as Word and Excel and to convert external content into a Web-appropriate format.
• Follows established department protocols and process.
• Follows established guidelines for applying meta data to content and Web sites under management.
• Follows established on-line job code/filing system for all work produced.
• Follows industry standards for properly formed HTML and other relevant Web standards as indicated by the Web Manager.
• Ensure quality control by checking pages to insure all comments and changes are made, and that style standards are adhered to before jobs leave the team.
Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Candidate must have least a year of relevant/related working experience
• Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
• Must have strong knowledge of HTML and XHTML
• Must have experience with CSS and JavaScript is a plus
• Must have experience with scanning, illustration, slide creation and image manipulation to support presentation design desirable but not required
• Must have flexibility in working different shifts when required
• Must be available to work overtime on weeknights and weekends if necessary
• Must be willing to work in Alabang
• Full time/permanent position available
