Senior PHP Superstar!
at SplitmediaLabs, Ltd. in Quezon City
SplitmediaLabs, Ltd. develops toolkits and components which enable rich media to be used for visual presentation and communication. We develop some of the most user-friendly, yet most advanced multimedia toolkits available on the market today. We are also the company behind XSplit Broadcaster, which is the simplest and most straightforward streaming solution in the world.
We're looking for talented individuals to help us bring our company and its products to the next level. We seek to employ individuals on a full-time, long-term basis -- one who will share our vision and would help us grow while constantly working on improving themselves and the company.
What are your responsibilities?
- Work directly with the CTO, Project Managers, and team to create dynamic web-based applications.
- Conceptualize, design, and build web-based systems around existing SplitmediaLabs toolkits.
- Help transition the XSplit website and other related online services to have a more robust, efficient, and structured architecture.
- Express and share ideas with the team for the overall betterment of the company.
What should you have?
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to do well under pressure.
- Good writing and communication skills.
- The ability to work will with a team.
What should you really, really have?
- A love for developing cool new things using proper programming techniques and architecture ( OOP / MVC / Code Commenting / Error Handling ) while not sacrificing code integrity.
- In-depth knowledge of XHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, and AJAX including familiarity with any PHP and/or Javascript framework.
- Thorough understanding of MySQL including the creation of queries, stored procedures, and triggers with efficiency in mind.
- The guts to answer back at your boss when you feel a design or feature should be changed or is not right.
- Willingness to work in Libis, Quezon City.
- A passion for gaming -- or at least an understanding of those who do have.
What we hope you also have?
- Experience with Adobe Flash and working with RTMP servers such as RED5, WOWZA, or FMS.
- Experience with other programming languages such as Java, Mobile, C++, FLEX, or ActionScript.
- Knowledge of creating and implementing Web Service APIs.
- Understanding of MS COM and DirectShow.
