Sr. Software QA Analyst (Functional Tester)
Job Description
• Design/Implement test plans.
• Perform High Complexity Data-Path Analysis for test design.
• Maintain test environment/testing tools.
• Generate highly complex database queries for backend test execution.
• Setup and maintain defects repository.
• Facilitate in Reviews/Walkthroughs/Defect Triage.
• Assist in delegation and monitoring of testing activities.
• Track and report testing status to Project Team.
• Provide work (time, resource) delivery estimates.
• Supervise members of a small team or subteam in a large project.
• Assist in planning, organizing, delegation and monitoring of team tasks.
• Report per-task progress and escalate issues to project leads.
• Facilitate deliverable walkthrough and review sessions.
Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related fields with equivalent experience.
• Candidate must have at least 5 – 7 years experience in QA Testing and at least 1 year experience as Team leader
• Must have Leadership Skills, Basic People Management and Basic Planning
• Must have technical skills such as Automation experience (preferably in Selenium), Knowledge in Test Automation Framework such as Data-Driven or Key-Driven approach/Track and Report Automation Testing Status.
• Must have familiarity with databases and strong experience in writing complex database queries.
• Must have extensive knowledge in SQL, Advanced test design, functional/regression test execution and defect tracking tools, software testing process, testing tools, and multi-platform testing experience.
• Must be willing to work in Pasay MOA
• Full time/contract position available
