IT Asset Management Engineer

Job Description
Development
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications
• Participate in full development life cycle including: requirements, analysis and design
• Write technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements
• Work with service delivery teams to remediate reporting issues with asset discovery solution(s)
• Participate in software design meetings and analyzing user needs to determine technical requirements

Asset Management
• Create and maintain integration solutions supporting the configuration management database (CMDB)
• Create automated data reconciliation utilities
• Automate manual asset management processes
• Assist service delivery teams with asset reconciliation
• Create and publish asset management and compliancy reports to satisfy requirements of business and service delivery stakeholders
• Manage and track assets to ensure assets are compliant with licensing and hardware
• Identify terms and conditions that do not meet the business requirements
• Respond to software audit requests from business and service delivery stakeholders

Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Must have strong programming skills with Perl, Python, HTML, and JavaScript
• Must have discovery utilities and Web development experience
• Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Must demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must have knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
• Must have ability to prioritize, multi-task, while balancing technical, business and other drivers
• Must be familiar with Data analysis and reporting
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication and collaborative skills
• Must have experience with Information Technology Asset Management utilities and tool sets
• Must have solid understanding of the IT Asset lifecycle
• Must have experience developing commercial software applications
• Must have experience with Asset Management systems and support
• Must have User interface programming experience
• Sufficient background developing and working in and for multi-platform applications (i.e. Windows, Linux, Unix)
• Must have strong client focus
• Must have strong organization skills, including experience in project management
• Must have knowledge of ITIL
• Must be willing to work in Makati City
• Full time/permanent position available
