Responsibilities:

• Keep current in security, network and telephony technologies and developing expertise with engineering tools and methodologies.
• Actively participate in architectural and engineering best practice.
• Track and report capacity, availability, reliability and performance measurements.
• Incorporate Networking Design and Monitoring skills using Network Management software such as Nagios or Zenoss.
• Understand concepts of VOIP troubleshooting and Voice/Data Optimization.
• Clear understanding of VOIP telephony protocols such as SIP, H323.

• Understanding of TDM Telephony technologies such as PRI, E1, SS7, C7

Requirements:

• Ability to configure and troubleshoot Cisco IOS and Cisco Switches.
• Detailed knowledge of enterprise-level networking with knowledge in TCP/IP, Routing Protocols (OSPF and BGP), and SNMP, SIP and VoIP protocols.
• Firewall, VPN, and proxy technology, design, deployment, and support.
• Expert knowledge and ability to troubleshoot layers 1-4 and associated equipment.
• Expert knowledge in network security.
• In depth knowledge of Internet protocols.
• In depth knowledge of Voice Over Internet Protocol (SIP and h323).
• Proficient with packet analysis and capture.
• Ability to trouble-shoot VoIP call flow.
• Detailed knowledge of network management tools and software.
• Proficient with user level UNIX commands.

• Detailed knowledge min 4 years providing Tier 2 or higher support for networking and security infrastructure and interfacing with vendor support organizations.

The job package consists of:

• Base Salary: Php 30,000 – 50,000 depending on skill, level and experience.
