System Administrator
(National Capital Region- Ortigas Center, Pasig City)
Responsibilities:
• Ensuring the uptime and maintenance of our Windows and Linux web servers and maintaining our Manila office network;
• Provide network and Windows workstation support.
Requirements:
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field;
• Knowledge in Linux OS maintenance, networking, and installation;
• Knowledge in databases, SQL, Postgressql, MySQL, basic programming, PC assembly, and hardware troubleshooting;
• Experience in hardware and network troubleshooting;
• Knowledge in DNS, DHCP, SAMBA, FTP, TCP/IP, network security, SAMBA, Windows file and print sharing;
• Strong command of English and a strong desire to learn and grow are also important.
• This is a night shift vacancy •
Technology Environment:
Our application environment is running on Linux, Apache, Jboss, Ruby on Rails, PostgresSQL DB and SQL Server. We support more than 150,000 international users worldwide, with provisions for multiple user types and levels of access. Among the challenging aspects of the job are the development of document management and Google- like search capabilities in our web applications.
