Linux Systems Administrator (Mid-Senior level)

Responsibilities:
* Work as part of the Unix team as a linux system administrator. * Install, set-up, maintain, and manage the LINUX servers in an enterprise virtual server environment. * Contribute to the set-up, maintenance, and management of Unix servers. * Install, set-up, maintain, and manage third parties software as part of the core IT infrastructure, like the backup and recovery system. * Ability to troubleshoot complex problems in the area of his/her responsibilityRequirements:
* Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. * Extensive experience in SUSE linux server administration, installation, patch updates, and system maintenance. * Must have experience in technical support engineer person in enterprise environment Must have experience in back-end support to other technical support teams. * Familiar with SUSE linux security. * Familiar working with system monitoring tools. * Novell Certified Linux Engineer (SUSE linux enterprise server). * Working experience in a controlled enterprise environment and familiarity with ITIL framework * Knowledge of system and network security, including knowledge of Standards, policies and technologies * Applicants must be willing to work in Ortigas, Pasig City * At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. * Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent. Job role in System Administrator or Network/System Engineer. * 2 Contract position available. * Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
