Telecommunications Integration Engineer

PROJECT: GSM/GPRS Single-Chip Integration
AVAILABLE POSITIONS:
• 1 position for Audio
• 1 position for GSM/GPRS/EDGE protocol/application layer
• 1 position for baseline integration or Driver
LOCATION: China
REQUIREMENTS:
Primary skills:
• Familiar with one of the skills such as GSM/GPRS/EDGE protocol/application layer, Driver, Audio and L1/Physical layer.
• Could investigate the problem from platform and product level.
• Good knowledge in software configuration management (ClearCase).
• Excellent knowledge of UNIX, Solaris is preferred.
Secondary skills:
• Familiar with RTOS.
• Familiar with ARM subsystem.
• Familiar with JTAG and ETM.
General skills:
• 5+ years experience in mobile industry with Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Telecommunication, Information Technology, and Electronics.
• Highly developed knowledge in C/C++ and assembly programming.
• Highly developed knowledge in software development methods.
Interpersonal skills:
• Excellent English communication skills (both in written and verbal), able to express own thinking clearly and understand other people accurately.
• Can spend time for traveling including trips abroad.
• Must be self-motivated, proactive and achievement oriented.
• Quick Learner and good team player.
• Good sense of responsibility and cooperation.
• Innovative sense, open minded and willing to accept challenges.
