Operations Engineer (R)

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of production systems
• Participation in capacity planning, allocation/forecasting of server usage, and development/production equipment specification, setup and equipment burn-in
• Responsible for providing 24x7 network management functions including network surveillance, fault isolation, repair, trouble management, and Service Desk support
Qualifications:
• Candidates should have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, other relevant courses or equivalent level of experience.
• With hands on experience with Linux system administration
• Experience should include installation, tuning, backup, and monitoring of systems.
• With 2 yrs experience with UNIX/Linux OS and concepts (processes, cron, bash, top)
• With exposure to high-availability technologies Knowledge/Technical Skills
• With good oral and written communication skills
• With good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
• Must be willing to participate in 24x7 escalation matrix
