Software Developer
at i-Payment Solutions, Inc in Makati City
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and review design specifications or project requirements from project manager.
• Perform encoding according to the design or enhancement specifications.
• Perform daily application support (bug fixes, system rollover assistance, small enhancement, etc).
• Perform code unit testing to assure accuracy in completed work items.
• Report to the project manager for project status and any project related issues as required.
• Provides recommendations to improve the system performance.
• Deliver a high quality product that consistently meets user requirements and expected timelines.
• Recognize when assistance is required either within the development team or with customers, willingness to take action.
Requirements:
• Minimum education requirement is four-year college degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related discipline. Other degrees will be considered with the appropriate background and experience
• At least 5 years of experience in development and implementation
• Required skills: PHP, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AJAX, VBscript, VB, VB.NET, Javascript. Preferred skills: CSS, ASP, ASP.NET, DHTML/HTML, XML/XSLT
• Experience in three-tier architecture with SQL backend or service oriented architecture is a definite advantage.
• A solid understanding of system development methodology and object oriented design
• Ability to cooperate with other nationalities and cultures
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficient in oral and written English communication
• Must be willing to travel and be assigned in overseas engagements
