Duties and Responsibilities:

• Working directly with the Walker Scott teams in Australia and NZ to interpret their client requirements and define, develop and implement clever technology based solutions.
• Developing new custom applications and integration of existing applications; usually via web services/API.
• Providing support for existing applications, however this is primarily around new module and feature development.
• Staying up to date with current technologies and trends.
• Write code for re-use and readability adopting to the software craftmanship principles.
• Participate in daily stand up and planning of tasks.
• Comfortable to host code reviews with team
• Participate in design and development meetings Resolving issues and troubleshooting


• 3+ years of commercial development experience with Microsoft ASP.NET MVC Framework.
• Commercial experience with Microsoft SQL Server including writing stored procedures.
• An ability to work across all stages of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• An eye for detail and a focus on quality.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Good organisational, task management, and prioritisation skills.

• College degree is good to have but not a requirement
• Experience with Web API, SOAP, RESTful web services.
• Experience with any of the following front end technologies jQuery, Syncfusion, Telerik - Kendo UI or Infragistics
• Commercial experience using AngularJS
• Microsoft certification
• Experience developing, deploying and managing Microsoft Azure, AWS or other public cloud technologies
• Previous client facing experience working directly with business users to understand their requirements
• Experience with the Microsoft BI Stack: SSIS, SSAS and SSAS
• Experience in developing or integration with supply chain systems (WMS, TMS, 3PL)
