Senior PHP Developer

We are looking for an experienced PHP/LAMP developer to join our team. In this position you would be responsible for: participating in the design, building, and testing of assigned RackNine projects; reporting and documenting your assigned tasks; documenting applications for clients and support training; participating in the planning of bug-fixes and feature updates of projects; and additional duties as assigned. To be successful in this role you need: an intermediate to senior level of experience in LAMP programming, a solid work ethic, good organizational skills, the ability to perceive client needs and document/recommend product changes as necessary, and some experience with CRM (for project, hours, and incident management).
We require a minimum 4 years programming experience, and a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Networking is preferred.
Additional information about the job:
-Unless otherwise agreed, this position requires you to work Edmonton hours (about 15 hour difference between Edmonton and the Phillipines) in order to properly receive and respond to inquiries from our customers.
-Demonstrated teamwork experience is a plus. This position will require the ability to coordinate with team, complete assigned tasks on time, and provide reporting/follow-up on task completion on a regular basis.
-You will need to demonstrate a strong understanding of web application architecture and object oriented technology as implemented in a LAMP environment
-You must have a high speed internet connection and be willing to work from your home.
-This position must be comfortable with written English. You will be responsible for writing client and support documentation with the help of a copywriter.
-This position needs to be able to perceive future client issues and address them accordingly in documentation and feature planning.
