Laboratory Technician

Key Responsibilities
• Do the chemical tests.
• Analyze the physical and chemical composition of the samples as well as recording test data
• Prepare chemical reagents in lab.
• Assist chemical engineers to deal with chemical wastes o Check and maintain lab instruments and equipment.
• Comply with all safety requirements and observe all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as directed.
Qualifications & Essential Experience & Qualities
• Grade 12 education with some work experience in the similar field.
• Minimum 5 year chemical analysis experience minimum 1 year Ni, Co, Mg, Al element analysis experience.
• Medically fit with no allergic reactions to chemicals
• Good interpersonal skills and demonstrate capacity to work in a challenging environment.
• Must demonstrate teamwork qualities, participate, self motivated and culturally sensitive
