Deputy General Manager

Key Responsibilities • Responsible for production planning and overall management and organization of the mine production, technology and equipment with stated goal, objectives and outputs focusing on efficiency and safety of the mine operations • Co-ordinate production plan of the mine, implement and update maintenance, spare parts and equipment regularly. • Manage the maintenance, commissioning and check acceptance of key equipment and ensuring safety is prioritized. • Proactive involvement in the development of mine production and management plan and assist the review of the regulations, technical procedures and program related to mine operation and production. • Develop regulations and technical programs and implement with result driven objectives. • Review and approve general technological renovation programs and proposals as well as assessment methods and production summary report and ensure it is organized and implemented proficiently. • Ensure all the problems and issues relating the mine are investigated promptly and restored proficiently and implement prevention method manuals for information circulation. • Deal with production faults and accidents of production, safety and environment including accidental investigation and analysis and the development of preventive measures. • Promote safe practices in the working environment for staff and other stakeholders. • Provide production seminars or troubleshooting meetings of the mine production. • Responsible for equipment running, maintenance and management, host equipment meeting to solve relevant issues including automatic control system. • Evaluate the performance of relevant staff in mine. • May act on the General Manager's position in his absence. • Manage the safety of the mine operation and organize the establishment of safety production management systems. • Regular updates on issues referred to external support are obtained effectively. • Comply with all safety requirements and observe all company policies and procedures. Qualifications & Essential Experience & Qualities • Bachelor's degree in mining or mineral processing. • More than ten (10) years experience in a mining industry with similar key responsibilities. • High level of proficiency in oral and written communications skills. • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrate capacity to work in a challenging environment and is driven to effectively produce and deliver results. • Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities, values team work, self motivated and culturally sensitive.
