Responsibilities:

* Work closely with Itron’s solution partners in order to manage the project deployment, deliver professional services on time and provide after-sales support. * Ensure that Itron’s products are well positioned and explore ways in which to increase the operational effectiveness within the customer’s environment. * Write and execute manual tests of SmithMicro software, develop test cases and possibly test scripts in conjunction with the software development groups of SmithMicro to validate and verify application functionality and performance. Test cases will be derived from functional specifications and customer requirements. * Other responsibilities may involve supporting the implementation of Itron’s new Customer Relationship Management software, and improvement/maintenance of Itron’s existing IT network including its database server and its company website.

Requirements:

* The ideal candidate for this position must have 3 – 5 years experience in the Telecommunications industry and has hands on experience in specifying, maintaining or integrating Operational Support Systems. * Knowledge in one or more of the following domain areas: Transmission & IP networks, Optical networks, Digital Subscriber Line technology, 2.5G/3G Wireless, MPLS Routing Protocols. * Knowledge in Network Monitoring System (NMS) and familiarity with telecom network equipment and element performance management would also be an advantage. * Knowledgeable in IT Networking, SNMP, Corba, Oracle RDBMS * Proficient in C/C++ or Java Programming, Solaris or HP-UX and/or Linux Operating Systems * Knowledge in testing Windows 32, Pocket PC 2003 and Server applications. * Working knowledge of Wireless Broadband technology (i.e. WiFi and VoIP). * Basic understanding of 3G Cellular technology. * Preferably with experience in using APTest Manager or Test Director test case management software. * Strong problem solving skills with project management experience * Must have self-initiative to learn and ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision * Team player, customer oriented and able to carry out technical account support * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Willing to travel abroad and willing to work in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. * Bachelors Degree in EE, ECE, CoE or Computer Science.
