full time SALES ASSISTANT

at Dempsey Resource Management, Inc. in Quezon City

I. GENERAL FUNCTION:

Primarily assists the sales team, prepares and then follows up on any sales quotations made for clients, negotiating terms with the client at a cost best suited for them.


II. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES VIS-À-VIS COMPETENCY PROFILE:

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Coordinates customers and prospects to arrange appointments or to make follow-up calls to confirm orders.

2. Communicates between other departments and the client to provide the service most suitable to the client’s needs, cost and time restraints.

3. Acts as a first point of contact for urgent calls, emails and messages when sales representatives are not available.

4. Handle orders by telephone or email and they also check that the orders have the correct prices, discounts and product numbers, and will contact customers to resolve any queries.

5. Maintains sales records, as a basis for reports to the senior management team.
