Responsibilities:
• Thorough understanding of Unix operating systems and associated tools
• Practical experience of Cluster and virtual partitions is essential
• Shell-scripting skills
• Standard office automation products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
• Experience of supporting servers in an EMC storage environment
• Experience of middleware products such as Connect-Direct highly advantageous
• Working knowledge of Oracle Server is desirable
• TCP/IP and networking experience
• Knowledge of Fibre Channel network and switches is desirable.
• Practical experience of performance analysis and tuning.
