Systems Test Engineer

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE :
- At least 3 years experience in software quality assurance testing – involved in test plan/test case preparation, execution and bug reporting.
- With experience in conducting business analysis and QA (develop test strategy, test plan, and test result analysis).
- With extensive experience in conducting software quality assurance testing (manual testing, automated testing, performance testing, and the like).
- Experience in applications developed in UNIX & Windows systems, C /C++, Java / J2EE.
- With strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to learn quickly. Must be able to work on multiple projects, detail-oriented, quality conscious, self-motivated, and hardworking.
OTHER SKILLS:
- Experience with smartcard solutions, software, and applications for Identity market is a plus.
- Knowledge in IT security technologies or ISO standards is a plus.
- Experience with any automated test tool, scripting language or programming skills is a plus.
JOB SUMMARY
Participate and contribute in the validation and qualification of software systems for Identity markets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Analyze specifications and test requirements to identify key areas to validate/verify. 2. Develop tests tools/means (test plans, test scripts, etc.) and prepare test environment. 3. Perform quality assurance tests (manual, automated, regression, performance tests and the like) and communicate results and test status/progress. 4. Identify, investigate, report and track bugs/issues to closure. 5. Reviews test artifacts, including test plans, test procedures, test scripts etc. 6. Promote and ensure conformance to Quality system and all applicable product development processes and practices.
