Senior Software Engineer ( PHP)

Dijksman.com was founded in 1999 by Mark Dijskman MSc. Dijksman.com focuses on the ‘missing link’ between governments and technological possibilities. The governmental communication has to develop into an interactive process of sending and receiving information in order to answer to the growing demands of the citizens. Interaction makes way for qualitatively better policy and services. Online participation is a good method to open up the interaction, and also saves costs because of the smaller workforce that is needed.
Dijksman.com is based in The Hague, The Netherlands, currently holding 15 employees, and is also the parent company of Dijksman-Asia Inc at Cebu (Philippines), with approx.10 employees. Sales, Consulting Services and Training are bases in The Hague, while software development takes place in Cebu.

nVolve is the concept of online participation. As the name points out, we involve people. nVolve offers support of the making and implementing of an online participation strategy and answers the question of our client which tools should be used to involve their target group. nVolve currently exists of two concrete products: a participation platform, using Volves that allow participation, and a communication platform, using Volves that allow interaction.
OPPURTUNITIES
Dijksman.com is an international company with sales efforts in The Netherlands, Germany and in the USA. Next to this we have development centers in Cebu and Goa.
We are after creating a OneTeam culture between the various teams and therefore you might qualify for a 1-2 months assignment in The Hague. On top of that we implementing tools to keep our staff updated and/or to train them on new technology. Recently Dijksman products have been awarded and as a result for this brand awareness is growing the revenue.

Requirements:
•At least 3-5 years experience on software design and programming skills in PHP/MySQL. Strong knowledge of OOP/modular programming and software design patterns.
•Preferably with 1 to 2 years of experience in supervising or leading a team.
•Had an extensive professional experience on coding PHP using either Zend Framework or Cak PHP.
•Must have an experience in creating CMS.
•Javascript Framework(JQuery) and AJAX knowledge is a plus.
•Abve average knowledge in HTML.
•Working knowledge of CSS and XML.
•Above average in oral and communication skills
•Must be willing to work in Lapu-lapu City
