Project Manager / Senior .NET Developer
at The Apartment Service (Anywhere)
Description:
TAS (The Apartment Service) UK is seeking an experienced project manager to join a distributed, but close knit team of software developers. The candidate will be required to come into the development team and initially provide development support in maintaining and developing various website functionally for www.apartmentservice.com. In parallel to providing development support the candidate will be required to analyse the project from level 0 to level n and begin to implement project management methodology to realign the project team, establish KPIs, set project scope, take responsibility for delivering key functionality.
Key Competencies/ Skills
- A strong understanding of programming languages, such as .NET, SQL, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS, XML is essential. Experience with Application frameworks is preferred: eg: JQuery, Telerik, etc.
- A professional approach to development with an appreciation of developing well documented procedures. Working with tools and systems to support this attitude such as version control, bug tracking etc
- The ability to perform requirements analysis and turn these into workable solutions
- Manage and monitor critical project timelines, scope and cost/budget at sites where projects are to be implemented
- An excellent communicator with a good English reading and writing level
- An interest in having a long-term relationship with TAS to develop new and innovative systems in this rapidly expanding industry. To take responsibility for helping to drive the company strategy forward
Qualifications / Experience:
- Qualifications to a university level
- Minimum 2 years working experience as a project Manager
- Experience working with travel based systems, such as global distribution systems, central reservation systems, property management systems etc. would be an advantage.
- Background in ITIL or ITSM and ISMS
