Responsibilities:

• Setup/Install/Configure MAIL / DNS / WEB Servers
• Setup, test and configure Unix / Linux / FreeBSD Mail, Applications, File Servers.
• Monitor server’s performance and utilization and perform necessary measures / maintenance to ensure 99.9% server availability to all users.
• Maintain Server Setup Documentation.
• Maintain logs of all server related functions, maintenance records as well as repair records.
• Monitor server performance in order to determine whether adjustments need to need to be made, and to determine where changes will need to be made in the future.
• Monitor servers to ensure availability to all system users and perform necessary maintenance.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement server security measures in order to protect data, software, and hardware.
• Research new server technologies, distros, and implement it or recommend its implementation.

• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology or any equivalent course
• Adept knowledge in Unix, Linux and Windows Operating System
• Software and Hardware Troubleshooting skills

• In depth understanding of Networking and Internet technologies
