I. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the Project quality needs, Project Quality Plans based on the internal Quality System and project requirements and lead/ implement the quality program on the project.
• Participates in New Product Introduction activities to detail quality issues/concerns and purpose implement countermeasures.
• Generates Quality system Procedures and Quality inspection instructions and maintains these documents for continuous application.
• Spearheads Quality Improvement Teams ( QIT ) and promotes Quality Improvement Programs.
• Handles line sustaining functions to support manufacturing areas to define root cause of problems.
• Identifies and reports issues related to Quality
• participates in Failure analysis activities by conducting evaluation/ simulation test and documents results.
• Convene cross-functional groups to develop action plans to address quality issues.
• Assists with implementation of identified action plans.
• Maintain problem log tracking and resolutions
• Addresses customer complaints by generating detailed 8-D report
• Participate in customer meetings by presenting Quality status.
• Participates in Material Review Meetings to provide timely disposition to non-conforming materials or products.
• Conducts orientation/ training on Quality Procedures and Workmanship Standards.

• Other functions which may be assigned.

II. Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret project quality requirements.
• Ability To respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
• Ability to generate Quality Plans and other to define specific quality requirements for each projects.
• Ability to evaluate quality problems to identify root cause.
• Ability to evaluate effectiveness of implemented actions items, which shall lead to its closure
• Ability to lead cross-functional groups to come up with appropriate action plans.
• Ability to communicate effectively ( both orally and in writing ).
• Ability to effectively present information to management, groups, and/ or customers.
• Possesses strong analysis, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• With Knowledge on SPC, and different QC tools.

• Knowledgeable in ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001 Standards.

III. Minimum Required Work Experience, Training, QMS and EMS Qualification:

• Possess a degree in Engineering ( preferably ECE or EE )
• With at least two ( 2 ) years of experience in manufacturing of electronic assemblies and Quality Engineering.
• Attended the training for EMS and QMS awareness.

• Computer Literate
