POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for technical leadership for a defined project during requirements, design, construction, and transition. Technical responsibilities include requirements analysis and management, schedule and scope, architectural design review, design modeling, code construction, QA and deployment planning, documentation and support. Responsible for consultation, continued mentoring and coaching of junior engineers both on the project and general development staff.

KNOWLEDGE AREAS:

• 8+ years of professional Software Development experience
• 4+ years experience with Web Development in .NET
• 4+ years experience programming with (VB.NET, ASP.NET)
• Expertise with RDBMS and SQL
• Expertise with Object Oriented programming
• Expertise with Visual Studio
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects/assignments concurrently under tight deadlines

• Experience with these technologies a plus (Ajax, Javascript, Endeca,Pearl,SVN)

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Essential Functions:
• Technical leadership for a defined project
• Development of functional and design specifications
• Coaching and mentoring staff
• Driving requirements elaboration and analysis
• Provide design and architectural leadership (working with Technical Team Leads) as required with both project and enterprise perspective
• Support a structured development environment for the team, especially during high pressure scenarios
• Develop and deliver training to team and/or entire organization
• Drive adherence to a structured development environment, especially during high pressure scenarios
• Develop project sizings, project plans, technical evaluations, timelines and risk analysis
• Resource identification and monitoring
• Champion research initiatives to improve stability, extensibility, flexibility
• Identify critical business processes for continued improvement
• Engineering efforts
• Project followup; post-release analysis and maintenance
• Technology and tools research and proposals

• Enterprise framework development and deployment

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): .NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET.
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Taguig City.
• Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
• Preferably Supervisor / 5 Yrs & Up Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer – Software or equivalent.
