Research & Development Manager

Primarily responsible for developing policies and procedures related to research and development, planning, organization, administration, and control of the research and development initiatives of the company while ensuring that the company’s mission and objectives in terms of product mix are being met. He/she is also directly responsible for overseeing the design and development of innovative, high quality, and competitive products for the company at the shortest possible development cycle time while keeping product cost at a competitive level. Mainly responsible for product conceptualization, development of R&D programs, coordination with purchasing as regards to product specifications, provide ways to achieve and implement cost reduction measures for producing products. In charge of controlling and monitoring latest patent applications, provides solutions to production problems, and always ensures that all designs are compliant with quality standards.
