General Objective:
Design and develop web-enabled/ based application using HTML PHP in Code Igniter, XML for cross platforms and cross- browsers compatibility. Deploy and manage web database servers. Research and development tasks to build products and tools. It carries out moderately, complex analysis and programming as assigned. My code, debug and documents programs. Provides management support, systems requirements gathering and documentation, and software quality assurance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• The primary responsibilities of this position is to write update cascading style sheets (CSS), work with JSPs, Servlets and Struts MVC framework. Familiarity with struts tile sand tag libraries is expected.
• Involvement with the development team to focus on presentation and on user experience improvements.
• Prototype new application to refine requirements.
• Design and create moderately complex software system including J2EE applications, relational databases, business application using SQL web interfaces to multiple information repositories, data processing, web to database communication processes and report generation.
• Provide technical consulting and respond to errors reports, problems or questions.
• Monitor the performance of Auction applications and servers and provide technical support as required.
• Analyze code for potentially untested logic, error-phone assumptions, misunderstood requirement s, and problem resolution and performance optimizations.
• Work with specialist in business analysis and project management on application quality assurance.
• Create test plans, test data sets and perform automated testing to ensure all components of the system meet application.
• Formalize test plans and implements testing procedures.
• Analyze, install and test commercial software for internal use.

• Write and maintain operational procedures and troubleshooting procedures. Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to develop formal applications specifications and project plans using common documentation tools.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and other Engineering courses

• 1-3 years experience as a Software Developer in a Software/ ISP, Internet company
• Experience in program developing using PHP, Java Servlet/JSP or ASP is a plus

• Experience in a large-scale, Custom-developed, e-commerce environment with high availability
