Manages the activities of a software quality assurance team. Develops quality standards for company products, and oversees the development and execution of software test plans and analysis of test results. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action. Develop and implement system test plans for software testing pertaining to significant matters often involving coordination among groups. Technical consulting on automation issues, tools and processes. Provide guidance and control to functional area teams for development and implementation of test plans.


EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years related experience. 3-5 years prior management/supervisory experience preferred. Experience working on an Agile development team and a thorough understanding of Agile development principals required. Experience using automation tools such as QTP, FIT, Fitness or Selenium required. Experience with test first (TDD) techniques preferred. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; ability to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously; ability to delegate work to subordinate employees; proven leadership ability.
