Profile and Job Description of Future Team - Wintel
Job Profile :
The candidate should be able to work on flexi 8 hour work per day, over any given 5 days a week schedule. To resolve production problems, new installations, implementation of changes, supporting business over complex failover environment.

Primary Responsibilities :
Secondary Responsibilities :
- Acknowledge and respond to user chat.
- Provide telephonic support, wherever appropriate
- Resolve Incident and Service requests in the queue
- Proactively resolve H/W related problems, based on alerts triggered
- Implementation of Upgrades, Changes, Configurations, etc.
- Implement and rollout global initiatives/projects
- Resolve production related outages through break-fix
- Implement and rollout global initiatives/projects
- Troubleshoot and fix performance issues.
- Interact with other functional and business teams across the globe.
- Opening cases with Vendors
- Execution of IWE, BCP, Powerdown
- Technical nature of work include:
? Administration and management of Windows servers
? Server hardware maintenance, monitoring, trouble shooting and repair
? Windows 2003 server installation, configuration, problem solving and performance optimization
? Trouble-shooting of DNS, WINS, DHCP
? Setting up and trouble shooting RAID system
? Capacity planning, design and implementation of new server requirements
? Implement and rollout global initiatives/projects
? Driving RCA
? Analyze the customer’s requirement, provide consultancy and solutions
? 24 hour on-call rotation within the team
? Coverage on an early/late shift rotation
? Occasional weekend and after office hours work
? Documentation of builds, processes and plans
? Performs tasks in accordance with BANK policies, procedures and practices.
Should be capable of leading projects like patching/upgrades at global level. Must be capable of leading a team.

Strong analytical and logical skills, capable of resolving problems quickly and independently. Should be an excellent team player.
English – Excellent in written/verbal communication. Capable of leading an incident related conference calls.
