Capacity Planning Mainframe Consultant - For Singapore ASAP!

Job Description
• Provide performance and capacity analysis support of mainframe environments
• Understand IBM processor internals (i.e. CEC/LPAR configs, z9/ z10 technology, zIPP/zAPP engines, etc.
• Analyze reporting and statistics to determine performance impacts to our capacity infrastructures and workloads
• Support performance functions and processes
• Typically Level III support but may also be requested to assist with problem determination and resolution.
• Maintain and manage WLM policies across the enterprise
• Monitor performance goals and report changes
• Monitor key system metrics on mainframe systems / make adjustments as needed
• Identify/implement process improvement/resource reduction ideas
• Provide project support for major initiatives as required
• Ad Hoc reporting involving performance metrics
• Stress testing (SVLS) support
• Recommendations for On / Off Capacity on Demand (OOCoD)

• Must have an in-depth knowledge of the Mainframe Platform environment.
• Must possess strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical ability.
• Also must possess strong problem solving skills
• Communicate effectively both orally and written

• Work independently to identify, research, analyze and resolved complex problem
