QA Manager

Requirements:
- A graduate of computer science or any related field
- 7 to 10 years quality assurance experience; including
- 3 to 5 years project management experience on large mainframe, client/server projects and web-based projects managing a team of quality assurance analysts
Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- Ability to negotiate QA approaches and roles
- Budgeting and accounting skills
- Presentation skills
- Ability to interact with senior technology and business management
- Knowledge of all aspects of development methodology
- Knowledge of project and development metrics and quality measurement
- Knowledge of overall technology organization and related best practices
- Understanding of architecture differences between fat and thin development
- Vendor management skills
- Ability to manage quality of offshore or externally developed software
Knowledge of industry best practices for QA such as SEI CMM (Software Engineering Institutes - capability maturity model)
