Web/Graphic Designer for an Australian company

JOB OPENING: Web/Graphic Designer
Asia Pacific Telecenter, Inc., the Customer Service and Sales branch office of TeleMates Pty Ltd (http://www.telemates.com.au), a Sydney-based telecommunications company, is currently looking for a Web/Graphic Designer to join its IT team.
As the company’s designer, you must have a talent for delivering visually appealing designs for company websites, logos, posters, and brochures. You will be responsible for all creative/design output of the company.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent design/aesthetic sense.
• Must be able to present a portfolio of design works for evaluation.
• Good English communication skills - written and spoken
• Good interpersonal and time management skills. Strives for continuous improvement of skills and techniques.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or GIMP as primary graphics software.
PREFERRED SKILLS BUT NOT REQUIRED (Must be willing to learn in the future if you don’t have them)
• Knows how to transform PSD/Gimp designs to HTML/CSS format.
• Familiarity with web standards and browser compatibility issues.
• Knowledge of current trends/techniques in web design, usability, and user experience.
Our office is located at Unit-C 19th Floor, Trafalgar Plaza Bldg, Salcedo Village, Makati City. We work on Sydney time so work hours is from 7AM to 4PM.
Salary will be based on applicant's experience. There will at least be an annual performance-based evaluation and salary review.
