System Administrator
at Application Consulting Training Solutions in Makati City
Responsibilities include but are not limited to hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance to support a 300+ pc/500+ user Windows 2003, Office 2003 environment. Provide technical assistance to users and other support personnel as assigned.
Qualifications:
Excellent English speaking ability to communicate effectively with American users.
Bachelor or Associates degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems desired. Education may be substituted with related work experience.
Overall, 2 or more years experience as an IT/Network administrator.
MCP or MCSA Certification Required. MCSE desired.
Strong TCP/IP, DHCP and DNS configuration and troubleshooting experience.
DSL, Cable modem and T1 installation and configuration experience.
IIS configuration, load balancing and troubleshooting experience desired.
Experience in planning, installing, troubleshooting and administration of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server and Windows 2000/XP Desktop operating systems. Strong experience with Active Directory planning, rollout and troubleshooting required.
Experience in the planning, installation, troubleshooting and administration of Exchange 5.5 & 2000/2003
Experience with Anti-virus solutions.
Experience in the design, deployment and administration of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Strong Knowledge of Office 2003 (Preferred)
Knowledge and basic understanding of IIS 6.0 (Desired)
Knowledge and basic understanding of Web and Portal technologies (Required)
Experience with Dell and HP hardware (Required)
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills (Required)
Superb customer service skills (Required)
Great attention to detail and task management skills (Required)
Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast paced environment (Required)
Ability to resolve support calls in a timely manner and the aspiration to produce quality work (Required)
