Service Desk Engineer
at Xybersolutions Inc. in Makati City
Job Description:
- Man the 24/7 Operations Desk and provides regular status updates on service problems
- Maintain, develop and follow monitoring procedures ensuring consistent practices
- Directly operate and monitor wireless applications and services (SMS/MMS/WAP)
- Coordinates with the technical support of Telco operator on operational concerns
- Escalate operational problems to appropriate departments
- Provide timely and effective follow-up/feedback to customers for all problems, issues and
- Provide ad-hoc technical support to customers
- Manage and maintain monitoring application utilities
requests.
- Provide assistance to some basic functions of System Administrator such as server OS
installation, data backup and
restoration, module updates, server network troubleshooting, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- At least 2 years equivalent work experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Has experience or knowledge in the following areas: Linux system and Network
administration; Relational databases and SQLbased
database servers
- Self-motivated, tenacious and eager to learn
- Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
- Fresh graduates with strong potentials will be considered
- Willing to work night and rotating shifts
