ERP DEPARTMENT MANAGER – SCM/ FINANCIALS/ HRMS/ HYPERION

ROLE OVERVIEW

Guide the Team managing the day to day planning. Develop the team skills, offering creative solutions.
Department: SCM/ FINANCIALS/ HRMS/ HYPERION Department
Reporting: ERP Division Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Ensures that the Department objectives and performance targets are met.
•Ensures that the Company policy, procedures, standards, rules and guidelines are adhered to.
•Enhances and monitors staff/ team leaders, section heads capability. Carries out the staff/ team leaders annual performance appraisal.
•Control staff punctuality, performance and leave.
•Suggest for the Division Manager raises for the staff performance notices, promotions, upgrading recommendations; also submits warning and termination letters in liaison with Human Resource Manager.
•Assigns any related task to staff/ team leaders and section heads.
•Authorizes any staff/ team leaders or section heads to attend, negotiate and make necessary decision on behalf of his Department.
•Plans and executes strategy for delivering weekly control reports.
•Develop staff/ team leaders, section heads capability either by directives or training without work interruption.
•Report to division manager on staff/ team leaders, and section heads performance and participate in staff appraisal in liaison with division manager.
•Recommend to division manager suitable courses/training program that improve Department employees’ capability.
•Organize staff/ team leaders, and section heads leave in a manner that does not affect Department performance.
•Comprehend and follow any directives, orders, and assignments issued by the division manager
•Receive budgets of planned, on-going, and recently signed contracts and projects, and update budget requirements, commitments and movements on all of them
•Ensure that strict confidentiality is maintained by the Department staff throughout the budgeting process
•Commit to continuous improvement and lead the Department in finding ways to improve
•Carry out interviews with the required candidates in coordination with the Division Manager
•Work closely and effectively with the Units administrative team
•Chair weekly meetings in Department staff/ team leaders and section heads and report to on key issues at the Departmental management team meetings
•Responsible for any other related activity as requested by his/her direct Manager
•Participate in pre-sales activities
•Develop and implement Quality control procedures
•Develop/ Enhance internal processes for the department

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•BS/BA in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent in work experience
•MBA/ MS preferred
•7 Years overall experience
•At least 5 years experience in Demonstrated skills/ knowledge in use of Oracle SCM/ FINANCIALS/ HRMS/ HYPERION applications
•At least 2 years of demonstrated experience in managing units, teams, departments…etc
•Proven implementation experience (at least 5 full life cycle implementations) in ERP implementation projects
•Understanding of SQL/PL SQL preferred
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Visio, and MS Projects
•Set the plans, budgets, and performance analysis for the SCM/ FINANCIALS/ HRMS/ HYPERION team
•Excellent English communication skills

•Ability to manage a unit including developing procedures, participate in program planning and analysis or qualitative review to determine appropriate actions
•Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated abilities to resolve diverse problems, to understand the importance of structure, organization, resource management and to complete critical tasks in a timely manner

•Balance of advanced technical skills, functional knowledge, client consultative skills and operational management experience
•Pre-sales presentation and relationship skills
•Ability to work effectively across different Lines of Businesses and with clients at all levels as the sole representative
•Ability to travel as necessary (up to 50% of the time)
•Ability to develop and give oral presentations to both large and small groups
•Ability to recall, retrieve and communicate detailed or technical information clearly, accurately and concisely and to non-technical audience/customers
•Demonstrated flexibility and excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize work and function independently completing a high volume of forms and variety of tasks accurately and with close attention to detail under pressure of deadlines with frequent interruptions or distractions
•Organizational and time management skills sufficient to independently establish priorities and coordinate and complete competing assignments within established timeframes
•Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a part of a team
•Ability to maintain confidentiality and interact effectively with others
•Have strong interpersonal and analytical skills
•Experience or ability to supervise staff (e.g. hire, train, assign work, motivate and manage performance)
•Respond to RFPs, Prepare Offers and Participate in presales activities and presentations
•Lead bid analysis and coordinate with the different teams involved in the bid offering in order to come up with an overall solution design
