Database Administrator

Database Administrator will be responsible for building and supporting SQL Server databases and ensuring their performance, availability, and security.
• Ensure availability and performance of the databases
• Monitor database systems to ensure secure services with minimum down time
• Perform database design and implementation tasks including design database, naming convention, physical storage configuration, perform database export and import, data migration/conversion, data backup/recovery, database performance tuning, develop data dictionary documentation, execute full data conversion, and troubleshoot application database issues (identify database server issues vs. application issues).
• Provide trend analysis and system resource reports to management to enable them to make informed decisions regarding resource management
• Improvement and maintenance of the databases to include rollout and upgrades
• Implementation and release of database changes
• Provide support in developing, debugging, and problem solving database processes (i.e. T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, etc.)
