Senior Software Global Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:
This new position is responsible to work in Manila in collaboration with the team in Spain to support the development of a specific PC simulator as part of the SDK of the R3210 contactless reader product
The project is driven by the Project Manager form the Spain office. This PM will provide the detailed specifications as well as the technical support needed all along the project.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Software Developer is responsible to contribute to the development of a simulator that run on a PC to validate the development of the SDK of the R3210 contactless reader product
• Position is responsible to promote SW engineering best practices to ensure reliable project execution, product quality, and operational efficiencies.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineer or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 4 years solid programming experience including 3 years in:
o developing Windows DLL applications with MS Visual C++.
o developing Windows DLL applications with MS Visual C++.
o developing PC applications with Borland C++ Builder.
• Experience in creating help files and installation packages.
• Very good knowledge of the architecture of embedded SW development tool chains, specifically from ARM (ARM SDT, TCC, Armlink)
• Minimum of 3 years experience on PC application design, development, implementation and support.
• Understanding with POS (Point-of-Sale) terminals or other highly secure financial/transaction solutions.
• Experience with the following is a plus:
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) experience, cryptography software development experience
• General device driver knowledge in the areas of serial, ethernet, USB, flash memory, displays, printers, wireless modems, Bluetooth, RFID, magnetic strip readers, smart cards
• Embedded Linux development
• Self-initiative, self-motivated, ability to work under pressure and with remote supervision.
• Good team player, strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
• Overtime will be required if needed.
• Can travel if needed.
