Responsibilities:
Primary tasks - SQL Server applications and reports
Converts an MS Access 97 database application to SQL Server so it can be accessed worldwide;
Creates secure SQL Server Reports for a legacy CRM application running on SQL Server 2005;
Requires experience with designing security or filters in Reports based on the user or role;
Imports data and writes reports for an SQL database application hosted on the internet.
Secondary tasks - SharePoint development and support
Maintains an existing SharePoint environment (Security, performance);
Builds process workflows for SharePoint lists and mini apps development as needed;
Converts SharePoint MOSS 2007 to 2010.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
Two (2) years minimum experience developing applications and reports with SQL Server and .Net.
Designs SQL database and user forms using C and/or VB .Net languages.
Experience in converting custom MS Access applications to SQL Server. Understanding of the options for using MS Access front end verses upgrading with .Net.
Ability to collect user requirements and design applications or modify existing applications with .Net. Includes general knowledge of CRM concepts and terms.
Experience with development and support of SharePoint a plus.
