Senior Software Developer (Web/Mobile)
at ISBX Philippines Incorporated in Pasig City
As a Senior Software Developer at ISBX you will be developing applications for Web and Mobile Devices using various technologies like XHTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, ASP, ASP.NET, AJAX.NET, SQL Server, Java, Objective-C and other web development languages. ISBX is seeking those who are seasoned veterans in the interactive agency environment; self-driven thinkers and problem solvers. The Senior Software Developer will be expected to work on a technically broad range of projects, and must have very strong design and implementation skills in web applications, database design and management, mobile / wireless, and rich media applications.
Additionally, the Senior Software Developer will have opportunities to travel to the US for business to work with the Creative and Technology team members in our Los Angeles based office.
Responsibilities:
• Work with Artists, Producers, Marketers, Quality Assurance personnel, and clients to define scope and features of project
• Design, build, and deploy interactive applications, software applications, and other integrated marketing systems using industry standard tools and development environments
• Interfacing with artists during project development
• Organize and oversee quality assurance testing (white box, black box, load, functional, etc.)
• Research and evaluate new technologies
• Mobile Application Development - iPhone, Blackberry, Android, Windows Mobile, Symbian OS
• Build complex web pages, user interface applications, middleware, and back-end databases using various programming and scripting languages (C++, C#, Objective C, VB.NET, Java, ASP.NET, PHP, AJAX/JQUERY, JavaScript, Flash, SQL, etc.).
• Maintain MS SQL database servers and stored procedures
Requirements:
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Proficient in the following technologies:
? PHP
? SQL (SQL Server /MySQL / PostgreSQL)
? Apache
? Linux
? HTML/XHTML
? CSS
? Javascript /Ajax /jquery
? XML
• Knowledgeable in any of the following technologies:
? Drupal or other open-source CMS
? classic ASP
? ASP.NET (VB or C#)
? C/C++ or Objective C
? Visual Studio 2005/2008
? Dreamweaver
? Adobe Photoshop
• Experience and/or knowledge in the following technologies is a plus:
? IIS 5-7
? SVN / CVS /VSS
? Windows Server 2000-2008
? Xcode
? Eclipse
? Safari Webkit
• Has a positive and pro-active attitude and able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Can think out of the box and has good communication skills
• Open to work in Ortigas, Pasig City from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
• Willing to travel abroad particularly in the US for short term assignments.
• At least 4 yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent. Job role in Software Engineer/Programmer or equivalent.
