WEB DESIGNER

Duties and Responsibilities:

Website Design and Coding * In depth knowledge of User Interface Design principles, Human Factors, User-Centered Design Processes, Interaction Design guidelines, Usability Testing Methodologies, web-industry standards and trends, platform standards, software development process, and prototyping/design * Experience creating interaction design in multiple media formats required * Familiarity with the latest usability testing tools/technology required * Experience with Adobe PhotoShop; Adobe Illustrator; Adobe Flash/ActionScript; browser testing in Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Opera, etc; * Expert experience in standards-compliant HTML/CSS markup and web accessibility. * Thorough understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO); Web Analytics (Omniture, Google Analytics); Accessibility compliance; Social Media marketing. * Experience with Programming – writing computer programs for various purposes. Expert level in (X)HTML/markup; CSS including creating layout-driven web pages; advanced understanding of: XML/XSLT; JavaScript; PHP; AJAX; Addition consideration given for content management systems including MS Sharepoint, Joomia, Drupal and WordPress; Adobe AIR mobile

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree * Minimum 2 years experience in an advertising or digital agency setting * A compelling portfolio, preferably accessible to us digitally * Direct response marketing experience, or comparable experience * High level of organization * Excellent analytical ability * Flexibility to handle multiple tasks * Exceptional skills of listening and documentation, with meticulous attention to detail * A positive, independently-motivated, team-focused, creative attitude * A passion for continuous learning and self-improvement * Unconditional integrity
