Responsibilities:

• Write functional and design specifications
• Write original source codes and revise existing software
• Design and implement software solutions
• Perform code reviews, unit tests, integration tests, code debugging
• Prepare software documents according to specific guidelines
• Estimate project scope and adhere to established guidelines and metrics for quality data
• Mentor other software engineers and act as senior member when designated

• Keep pace with related emerging technology and trends, and introduce new tools and techniques for software development

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or any computer-related course (BS degree)
• Has a MINIMUM of 3 years work experience programming in C, C++, and Java
• Programming experience in Unix and Linux environment is required
• Certification in PhilNITS (FE, SW) and Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is a plus
• Has demonstrated capacity to apply software techniques to team projects

• Good team player, with strong organizational and leadership skills
