full time Project Manager (ITSM/ITIL certification preferred)

The role of the Project Manager is to:
- Undertake project management activities spanning multiple projects for clients - both internal and external - within the Asia-Pacific region.
- Participate in pre-sales activities relevant to proposal and tenders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Company's Technology's quality management system - VALUE.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree (or equivalent) Prince 2 Practitioner Certificate (or equivalent) ITIL Foundation Certificate

Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an IT project delivery environment with a minimum of 2 years of that experience in an IT Project Coordination role.

Skills:
- Excellent time management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, at various levels of business.
- Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills within a team. Highly competent in use of Microsoft products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
- Knowledge of ITSM products (eg. BMC Remedy, CA AHD, HP Service Desk, Peregrine Service Desk, IBM Tivoli, BMC Patrol, HP Openview, CA Unicentre, Touchpaper ITBM) is a definite advantage.

Specific Duties:
- Take part in pre-sales and bid-team activity as required.
- Ensure that projects are conducted in a professional manner and that all requisite administration is executed by the project team as a whole.
- Allocate tasks and manage a team of consultant(s) on a nominated project.
- Review project correspondence and deliverables prior to issue.
- Provide internal and external project reporting, as determined by the project methodology, and ensure that regular project communication is carried out.
- Contribute to the development of the Company's capabilities within the PRINCE2 best-practice framework as determined to be pertinent to the Company's strategy.
