Responsibilities:

• Work with our backend services and other engineering teams on the development of features for new and existing systems and platforms.

• Design and implement reusable, robust and scalable backend components and services for our systems and platforms.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated mid to advanced-level proficiency in Java
• Solid programming, OO design and debugging skills
• Good understanding of concurrent programming concepts and practices
• Solid SQL skills
• Track record of building robust and scalable server components and applications
• Solid understanding of web service concepts and technologies a must – REST, SOAP, JSON, etc
• Proficient in leveraging development tools and automation – SCM, IDEs, debuggers, profilers, CI, etc.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols
• Experience with building Spring Framework based enterprise applications a big plus
• Familiarity with cloud computing and “NoSQL” technologies a plus

• A fast learner, able to adapt to new applications and frameworks, and eager to work on fast-paced, exciting, and innovative technologies.
