PHP Development Manager

Responsibilities:
•The Development Manager works closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time.
•Meet with business owners to plan and prepare for new projects.
•Responsible for determining the resources that are required for future projects.
•Responsible for interviewing and hiring architects and developers.
•Perform employee evaluations based on peer review as well as code reviews.
•Ensure communication amongst the team is constant in order to achieve positive working environment.
Requirements:
•Minimum 3 years application development experience, and 2 to 3 years in systems design, including experience in multiple languages and platforms.
•Broad technical skills with a strong understanding of software development tools and languages required.
•Expert knowledge in designing and delivering complex web-based applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP 4 and PHP 5)
•Experience managing development teams.
•Ability to mentor team of architects and developers.
•Experienced with SDLC including requirements gathering and analysis, software test and defect tracking.
•Ability to oversee the creation of detailed, complete project documentation through: prototyping, use cases, user-interaction flows, UML, flowcharts, ERDs, graphic UI design and functional specifications.
•Willing to work in Pasig City
