Responsibilities
• Provides technical assistance to application/business users
• Troubleshoots application issues
• Recreates steps taken by user to locate root cause and modifies or rewrites code to correct errors
• Analyzes, reviews and alters code to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements
• May test, install or deploy code changes
• Coordinates with external vendors to address application issues
• Creates documentation, when needed and can be called upon to conduct internal trainings on application/business domain knowledge and technical skills
Qualifications
• Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related courses.
• Candidate must have 1-2 years work experience in UNIX shell scripting and SQL
• Candidate must possess problem solving and analytical skills
• Candidate must be proficient in English both written and verbal
• Preferably with skills in Weblogic, Spring Framework and Mainframe DB2 but not required.
• Must be available to start immediately
• Must be willing to work in work in Makati
• 2 Full time/contract positions available
