Our Client, One of the Leading software research and development company has an URGENT need for the following position:

CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to interpret technology and market trends as a foundation for technology and product roadmaps.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• With 5 years in Software engineering, with 2-5 years in an executive-level position.

• BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science required Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science or Management Information Systems (MIS).
MBA preferred.

30-45 years old; with 4-5 yr experience, handled related (big) projects.

The chief technology officer (CTO) reports to the CEO and is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and leading all aspects of the company’s technology development. The CTO is the company top technology executive, playing an integral role in the company’s strategic direction, development, and future growth.

Function
• Companies rely on chief technical officers to plan, define and execute product development initiatives and enhancements for customers and employees. They are responsible for reviewing proposed product development plans and approving new releases and upgrades. Managing budgets, researching and choosing software solutions to address organizational challenges and needs, and maintaining technology systems to encourage company growth and financial performance are other duties of chief financial officers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of technology strategy for technology platforms, partnerships, and external relationships.

• Build and manage a top-flight technology team and oversee research and development, as well as project management.

• Provide visible leadership for the company within the technology community.

• Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.

• Establish technical standards and ensure adherence to them for product development and company operations.

Skills
• Chief technical officers must possess a variety of skills, including a high proficiency in their company’s software or technology and the ability to explain complex terminology to various audiences. As executives, chief technical officers should have excellent leadership and decision-making skills and a thorough understanding of business operations and management. Strong interpersonal, writing, strategic planning and negotiation abilities are also beneficial on the job
