Job Description
• Do performance tuning on the existing Informatica processes
• Maintaining core mapplets that will be used cross-clients
• Modifying or debugging existing processes as needed
• Create custom mappings in Informatica to manipulate and transform data
• Creation of database objects like tables, views, joins and indexes
• Extraction, Transformation and Load process (ETL) using Informatica PowerCenter to populate Teradata tables and flat files
• Creation of load and extract strategies using Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, MultiLoad, FastExport, TPump) – Working knowledge of Teradata Tools (SQL Assistant)
• Programming and Translation mapping review of existing Informatica configuration / architecture
• Determining and tuning of Teradata SQL for optimal performance – Develop and support
• Writing UNIX shell scripts
Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Candidate must have at least 4 years of experience in Informatica programming and translation mapping review existing Informatica configuration/architecture
• Unix and Sybased (DB2 or any RDBMS) knowledge is an advantage
• Must have exposure to Census process and Conversion process is an advantage
• Must have experience in Informatica Power Center 9x/8.6/7.1.1 (Source Analyzer, Warehouse Designer, Mapping Designer, Mapplet Designer, Transformation Developer) and Informatica Power Mart, Data mart, OLAP, OLTP, UNIX Shell Scripting
• Must have 4-7 years of IT experience with DW, Teradata and Unix Shell Scripting experience
• Must have good understanding of data ware housing concept and relational data bases
• Must have working experience with various strategies in Teradata
• Must have experience with creation of BTEQ scripts
• Willing to work in Mall of Asia Pasay
• Full time/permanent position available
