Job Description
This position is responsible for database handling and some adhoc IT tasks.
• Create and maintain lists of entities and/or terms.
• Insert synonyms into the system,
• Add and check sources/rss feeds for validity etc.
• Run command line tools
• Do data handling by scripting/programming and database-lookups by SQL.
• Provide high quality solutions to meet client expectations and requirements,
• Work closely with the client, other staff, such as product managers, technical team leaders, research analysts.
• Problem solve and think laterally,
• Work as part of a team and individually, to meet the needs of the project.

Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Candidate must have at least 1 year experience programming with Linux & Python
• Candidate must have at least 1 year experience on relational databases/SQL (and non-SQL-databases as well.
• Must have strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Must have ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment
• Must be willing to work in Makati City and willing to travel abroad
• Full time/contract position available.
