Job Description
• The Engineer will be responsible for maintaining Infrastructure availability.
• The Engineer will assist the Systems, database and Network administration with the review of and suggest changes to the application installation/ configuration to the operating system, and hardware.
• Job responsibilities include monitoring system performance, optimization, maintenance,
• Centralized Monitoring and Problem/request Management(Internal/External) Clients.
• Engineer familiar/aware of ITIL procedures(CM/PM Procedures).
• Engineer must be a team player who is able to work with peers and other team members in solving a range of interoperability and integration issues that may exist within the environment.
• Proficiency in Communication Skills & Relationship.
• Required to participate in the on-call rotation.
• Facilitate the sharing of best practices across the Team.
• Systems Administration and production support working hand in hand with Various teams.
• Ensure closure of tickets within the SLA terms
• Ensure high level of customer satisfaction (internal / external).
• Ensure daily/weekly/monthly reporting of SLAs and exceptions.
• Ensure day to day co-ordination with the US CTC/Internal support teams for a smooth operations between teams.
Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Candidate must have at least 1.5 up to 3 years of experience in working with Enterprise Infrastructure
• Must have background in troubleshooting of Windows OS related issues and application related issues
• Must have hands on experience in handling issues on Microsoft Clusters and Storage environment
• Must have experience in troubleshooting issues related to Virtualization (VM Ware)
• Must have experience in troubleshooting IIS related issues
• Must have good knowledge of ESX
• Must be willing to work in Makati City
