Job Description
Specific Accountabilities:
• Conducts a risk-based Quality Assurance program for project which includes review of systems’ compliance to project management and systems development methodology standards, coding and design standards, infrastructure and application blueprints, internal processes and procedures.
• Assists in the development and maintenances of internal processes and procedures related to systems development.
• Assists and supports the Project Management Office in the development and improvement of the project management methodology. Activities include investigation and analysis of the current processes; formulating and acting on recommendations for process improvements.
• Assists and supports the development teams in the creation of coding and design standards.
• Documents processes and standards in a central process and standards repository. He/she is also responsible for the maintenance of these repositories.
• Designs and recommends project tools that would support the standards and processes (e.g. repositories of processes, standards and project deliverables, project metrics tools, system requests database).
• Consolidates all project status reports and monitors performance of projects handled by the department through metrics.
• Monitors all skills development initiatives including training, seminars, conferences, technical sessions, quality circles, etc.
• Implements and continuously improve software change management program for the Manila Shared Services Center.
• Leads junior QA staff in conducting QA reviews
Job Qualifications
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Candidate must have 5-7 years solid background in system development (system analysis, design and programming) with at least 3 years experience in software quality assurance
• Must have been involved in both process and technical quality assurance reviews of applications based on widely accepted or defined standards and methodologies.
• Must be willing to work in Bonifacio Global City
• 2 full time/permanent positions available
