Newtork System Programmer
at Profession Point Process Solutions Co. Ltd. in Manila
1. Provide day to day BAU support to UAT, production and project.
2. Perform relevant technical support activities relating to the
installation and maintenance of operating and system softwares:
Main area:
- VTAM
- TCP/IP
- XCOM
- Connect Direct
3. Interface with outside vendors to co-ordinate software problem resolution
and pro-active patching.
4. Perform system network performance monitoring and tuning; participate in
capacity planning and systems configuration.
5. Provide technical support to both systems development and data center
operations personnel.
6. In conjunction with data processing operations and audit guidelines,
develop procedures and standards for operations personnel.
7. Assist in evaluating, recommending, acquiring, and installing new
hardware or hardware upgrades.
8. Keep current on hardware and software developments.
9. Documentation of Continuity of Business (COB) environment setup and
procedures.
10. In conjunction with data processing operations, develop procedures and
standards for operations personnel.
11. In conjunction with COB co-coordinator, setup and verify the APPC MF
12. System network environment in the contingency site in the event of a
disaster.
